Volunteer Opportunities

Please join us as a volunteer and help us promote empowerment and emotional well-being in youth! These opportunities are flexible—we know you’re busy and appreciate whatever amount of help you can give! We welcome adults and high school/college students. 

Volunteers raising funds for ThinkGive, a social and emotional learning non-profit.

 

 

STRATEGY
Student Advisory Board Member: Are you a high school or college student looking to get involved in a nonprofit? Apply to join our Student Advisory Board!

Board service: Do you have board experience and/or are you interested in governance and strategy? There might be a place for you on the ThinkGive Board.

Volunteer Program: Evaluate our volunteer practices and procedures and strategize how to make our program more robust.

Intern Program: Grow our college internship program by helping to recruit diverse candidates and helping with interviews, onboarding, and management. 

 

EVENTS
Join our 2024 Team ThinkGive at the September Rodman Ride for Kids: Ask friends and family to support your 25- or 50-mile bike ride (or an activity of your choice!).

Event committee: Help with our spring fundraising events at Barefoot Books in 2024 and our ThinkGive Grows celebration in 2025.

Host a “friend-raiser”: Invite colleagues, friends, and family to learn more about our mission (with our support!).

 

JOIN A COMMITTEE!
Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) Committee: Work with this team to help ensure that ThinkGive operates using a lens of DEIB.

Curriculum Committee: Work with this group to workshop lesson plans and evaluation rubrics.

Development Committee: Advise and participate in fundraising campaigns.

 

MARKETING
Social Media Marketing: Help create and manage ThinkGive’s social media content.

Website Content: Help develop content for the ThinkGive website (e.g., blog posts, impact stories, etc.).

Graphic/Infographic Design: Help design graphics and infographics to tell our story.

Digital Storytelling: Create marketing videos highlighting ThinkGive’s work, including interviewing the staff, interns, volunteers, educators, and students. 

Photography: Help capture great images of ThinkGive students and educators.

 

DEVELOPMENT
Grant Writing: Help us research and write grants and proposals.

Corporate Sponsors: Research and recruit new sponsors to support our programs reaching under-resourced youth. 

Annual Report Development: Help develop our Annual Impact Report (content and graphics).

 

OUTREACH
Do you know any educators interested in bringing ThinkGive to their students? Introduce us!

Introduce us to people (your employer, friends, colleagues, etc.) who might want to help support our mission—as a donor, corporate sponsor, foundation, volunteer, advisor, or board member.
