Volunteer Opportunities
Please join us as a volunteer and help us promote empowerment and emotional well-being in youth! These opportunities are designed to be flexible—we know you’re busy and appreciate whatever amount of help you can give! We welcome adults and youth (high school or college).

STRATEGY
Junior Advisory Board Member: Are you a college student looking to get involved in a nonprofit? Apply to join our Junior Advisory Board and let us know your interests and how you want to help! Commit at least two years to the program.
Board service: Do you have board experience? Are you interested in governance and strategy? You might be interested in getting involved on the ThinkGive Board.
DEIB
Join our DEIB committee to strategize and evaluate our programs, policies, and procedures to ensure that ThinkGive operates using a lens of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging.
Research and evaluate methods to connect ThinkGive with diverse groups.
MARKETING
Email Marketing: Draft content for emails to educators and supporters.
Social Media Marketing: Help create and manage ThinkGive’s social media strategy and content.
Website Content: Help develop content for the ThinkGive website (webpages, blog posts, impact stories, etc.).
Graphic/Infographic Design: Are you creative? Design graphics and infographics that help tell our story.
Digital Storytelling: Create marketing videos highlighting ThinkGive’s work including interviewing the staff, interns, volunteers, educators, and students.
Photography: If you are good with a camera, we can use your help in capturing great images of ThinkGive students and educators.
PROGRAM
Join our Curriculum Committee: Help us workshop lesson plans and evaluation rubrics.
Research: Help strategize, plan, and manage our long-term research project.
DEVELOPMENT
Grant Writing: Help us research and write grants and proposals.
Join our Event Committee: Help plan the annual ThinkGive Grows celebration.
Join our Development Committee: Advise and participate in fundraising campaigns.
Corporate Sponsors: Research and recruit new sponsors to support our programs reaching under-resourced youth.
Annual Report Development: Help develop our Annual Impact Report (content and graphics).
Host a “friendraiser”: Invite colleagues, friends, and family to learn more about our mission.
OUTREACH
Know educators who might be interested in bringing ThinkGive to their students? Introduce us!
Volunteer Program: Evaluate our volunteer practices and procedures and strategize how to make our volunteer program more robust.
Intern Program: Grow our college internship program by helping to recruit diverse candidates, and helping with interviews, onboarding, and management.
Introduce us to people (your employer, friends, colleagues, etc.) who might want to help support our mission in some way—as a donor, corporate sponsor, foundation, volunteer, advisor, board member.
